Letter from the President

Hello, my name is Katie Stuart, the Chapter President, and I am so happy to welcome you to the Alpha Omicron Pi, Delta Xi Chapter website! I am currently a Junior at Rose-Hulman and I am pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Aerospace and a minor in Spanish. Greek Life was never a path I expected to take in college, but it has truly changed my life. Our members continually inspire me in all that they do. This new family is more than I could’ve ever hoped for. They have provided me with a home away from home and a safe place to be authentically myself. Without this family I would not have the courage to lead. AOII truly embodies what it means to live, love, lead, and serve. AOII is a group of inspiring, intelligent, driven, and accomplished people. AOII is love. Our AOII family has grown immensely over the last year and we are always collaborating on ways to improve. Our success is even being recognized on an international level! This summer, my Chapter Advisor and I were lucky enough to attend the 57th International AOII Convention. While in attendance we received awards for our excellence in philanthropy and our progress as a chapter! While I am so proud of our progress, we are aware that there is always more to do. There are more people we can continue to lead and serve. I am lucky enough to work towards those goals with a family. I am proud to claim AOII as my own!
